Terms of Service

These terms describe how we provide Noctua Forest and the responsibilities you agree to as a user. The tone and expectations are similar to boutique creative studios and small marketing teams—clear, practical, and focused on mutual respect.

1) Using Noctua Forest

• You must be at least 13 and able to form a contract where you live.
• Keep your account secure and don’t share access. You’re responsible for activity under your account.
• Don’t misuse the platform (e.g., harassment, illegal content, attempts to break security).

2) Content & submissions

• You retain ownership of your content. You grant us a non‑exclusive license to host, display, and process it solely to operate features you use (e.g., submissions, reviews).
• You promise you have the rights to what you upload and that it doesn't violate any laws or third‑party rights.
• We may remove content that violates these terms or applicable law.
• We don't sell retailer reviews. Reviews on Noctua Forest are editorial and community-driven.

3) Payments & premium services

• Payments are handled by Stripe. We don’t store full card details.
• Premium services (e.g., Noctua Forest + Staff Book Review) are described at checkout; refunds are handled consistent with that offer and applicable law.

4) Acceptable use

No unlawful, defamatory, or harmful activity. No attempts to reverse engineer, scrape at abusive scales, or bypass access controls.

5) Termination

We may suspend or end access for violations. You can close your account at any time; we may retain minimal records as required by law (e.g., payment references).

6) Disclaimers & liability

The service is provided “as is.” To the extent allowed by law, we exclude warranties and limit liability to amounts you paid in the last 12 months for the service giving rise to the claim.

7) Changes

We may update these terms as we evolve. We’ll post changes here and update the date below.
